On this page you may find the answers to our most commonly asked questions. We aim to be as candid as possible, so our customers know exactly what to expect from their visit at MapleWood Manor.

  • How do I arrange a viewing/check availability?

You can arrange a viewing by clicking book now.

  • Do you offer disabled access? Are dogs allowed?

Some paths may be difficult considering the ground feature a lot of gravel & grass but indoor areas are completely accessible, there is a baby changing unit, disabled toilets & easy access features for everyone.

No pets are allowed on the grounds unless it is a guide.

  • Are you licensed to host weddings?

As of now you will have to contact a church or registry office to have this set beforehand, that way we can host here.

Almost all licensed venues charge extra for a ceremony on site to cover the extra operating costs, as this legally requires the licensed owner to be present before and during the ceremony, provide a room for an interview and additional exclusive parking as well as the cost to renew licenses on a regular basis.

If demand for this increases we will revise this & look into licensing.

  • Do you have accommodation?

We do offer accommodation, you may check our rates (per night) in the booking section.

  • What happens if I've planned an outdoor ceremony and it rains?

If it rains, we will host the ceremony in the barn. If the reception is also held in the barn, we will work on a plan to transition.

  • Why are there some dates that are not available for our wedding on the farm?

Maplewood Manor is still a functioning farm & some days will be greyed out as we will be exclusively working on our farm that day & won’t have the resources to make your special day as special as it could be on those specially allocated dates.

  • Will someone be on property to help me with my special day?

Yes! A wedding coordinator will be your go-to for all updates/information regarding the special day as well as your personal helper.

  • How many guests can I have?

Capacity is 120 people. (Due to Covid-19 this number may be different please click the Visitors/Covid-19 section to check an up-to-date capacity number.)

  • Can we bring in some of our own food for our event?

No, with our wedding/event packages all food will be supplied. We have our own exclusive caterers & on-site kitchen staff that will be able to meet your catering needs.

  • Can we choose our music?

You may play all the music you wish to, up until midnight. We will also supply our own sound kit, we set this ourselves to make sure it is kept below 90dB with our limiter, DJs are also welcomed as long as they are able to use our sound kit. (They may use their own phone/laptop e.g.) + 90dB is by no means quiet, it will also make sure that everyone can hear each other well enough & that small groups don’t disperse over the field/grounds.

  • Can we have confetti?

We like to keep the grounds free of plastic so exclusively biodegradable confetti will be fine, we can supply the confetti if purchased in our packages.

  • Can we incorporate the farm with our wedding?

Yes! Most of our wedding/event packages also feature the farm; farm related goods & treats, if children are attending, they will be able to feed the animals & more.
